This is my research paper, published in the Journal of Surveying, Construction & Property, University of Malaya. The research explored the facility managers CMMS acceptance in Malaysia.

I have years of experience dealing with the actual problems that exist within the industry. Hence why I started out on a mission to determine the critical factors influencing the FM industry’s adoption of technology.

Selecting CMMS was an important decision because, prior to this research paper, I had surveyed various facilities management technologies among facility managers. Thus, it is important to explore the key acceptance factor for CMMS among facility managers.

Discover the depths of the research to get insights that could assist Malaysia’s facilities management industry in taking a new route. The primary technology in focus in this case is CMMS, a well-known legacy technology in the industry.

This study used two significant variables from the Technology Adoption Model (TAM)—perceived ease of use (PEOU) and perceived usefulness (PU)—to better understand the barriers and drivers of technology adoption by mediating the complex relationship between system characteristics and projected technology adoption.

80% of digital transformation initiatives will fail, but knowing these external factors will be essential regardless of technology if you want to increase your chances of success.

I am interested in getting in touch with industry leaders who are out there pursuing the challenging journey of technology adoption. I have gathered some interesting data that I will compile and share with everyone.

Thank you to all the respondents for this research. This is the link for the published paper.
